How do I find workers without a wage set?

Spot workers who are blocking ProPay generation due to missing wages.

Purpose

A worker without a wage set blocks ProPay calculations on any job they're on. Find them and fix them.

When To Use This

Use this when:

  • ProPays are stuck and you suspect missing wages
  • You're cleaning up a new branch's people list
  • Migration left some workers wage-less

Quick Path

  1. Go to People page
  2. Filter by "missing wage"
  3. Set wages

Step-by-Step

Go to People. Open the filters.

Filter by missing wage / no wage. Each list shows workers without wages set.

For each:

  • Click into their profile
  • Set their wage
  • Save

Dashboard Alert

The dashboard's Alerts section also surfaces missing-wage workers. Click into the alert and resolve.

Why This Matters

Without a wage, Protiv can't:

  • Calculate the actual labor cost on a ProPay
  • Determine the worker's bonus share
  • Pay out anything

A single wage-less worker on a multi-person crew can stop the whole ProPay.

Common Mistakes & How To Fix Them

  • "I set the wage but the worker still shows as missing" Refresh. Some caches take a moment to update.

  • "Wages keep going missing for some workers" Your integration may be blanking the wage on sync. Verify the source-of-truth setup.
