How do I find ProPays for a specific worker?

Use filters, worker statements, or job views to quickly see all ProPays tied to a specific worker.

Purpose

This article shows how to find all ProPays connected to a specific worker in Protiv. This helps with reviews, questions about bonuses, and troubleshooting missing or incorrect payouts.

When To Use This

Use this if:

  • A worker asks about a missing or unexpected bonus
  • You’re reviewing a worker’s performance or payouts
  • You need to see which jobs contributed to a worker’s bonuses
  • You’re troubleshooting ProPay or statement issues

Before You Start

  • You must be logged into the web dashboard

  • You must have access to ProPays or bonus statements

  • The worker must have logged time on jobs

Quick Path

  1. Go to ProPays and filter by worker.

  2. Or review the worker’s bonus statements.

  3. Or open a job the worker worked on and view its ProPays.

 Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1 — Find ProPays using the ProPay list

This is the fastest method for most reviews.

  1. Go to the ProPays page in the web dashboard.
  2. Click Filters.
  3. Use the People filter.
  4. Select the worker.
  5. Apply the filter.

You’ll see all ProPays where that worker logged time.

Step 2 — Find ProPays inside ProPay Groups (if used)

If your team uses ProPay Groups:

  1. Go to ProPay Groups.
  2. Open Filters.
  3. Use the People filter.
  4. Select the worker.

This shows groups that include ProPays the worker contributed to.

Step 3 — Find ProPays from bonus statements

This is helpful when answering worker pay questions.

  1. Go to Bonuses or Statements.
  2. Filter by the worker.
  3. Open a bonus statement.
  4. Review the ProPays listed inside the statement.

This shows exactly which ProPays contributed to that payout.

Step 4 — Find ProPays from a job the worker worked on

Use this when reviewing job-level performance.

  1. Go to Jobs.
  2. Filter by the worker using People.
  3. Open a job.
  4. Open the ProPays section or tab.

You’ll see all ProPays tied to that job.

How ProPays Connect to Workers

A ProPay appears for a worker when:

  • The worker logged time on a job or milestone
  • That time is included in bonus calculations

If a worker didn’t log time, the ProPay won’t appear for them.

Examples

  • Example 1:
A manager filters the ProPay list by a worker to answer a bonus question in under a minute.
  • Example 2:
An admin opens a worker’s bonus statement to show exactly which jobs created their payout.

Common Mistakes & How To Fix Them

  • Not using filters
Fix: Always apply the People filter to narrow results.

  • Expecting ProPays without logged time
Fix: Confirm the worker logged time on the job.

  • Looking in only one place
Fix: Use ProPays, Statements, or Jobs depending on the question.
