How do I log in for the first time?

Create your account, wait for your company invite, accept it, and log in to access your Protiv dashboard.

Purpose

This article explains how to log in to Protiv for the first time. It walks you through account creation, accepting your company invitation, and getting into your dashboard.

When To Use This

  • You’re brand new to Protiv.
  • You just created an account and can’t access jobs yet.
  • Your company told you to log in for the first time.

Before You Start

  • You must have the Protiv app installed on your phone.
  • You need to use the same work email your company will invite.
  • Your company admin must add you to their workspace.

Quick Path 

  1. Sign up with your work email.
  2. Wait for your company to invite you.
  3. Accept the invitation in the app.
  4. Log in and access your dashboard.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1 — Sign up for a Protiv account

Open the Protiv app.

  • Tap Sign Up.
  • Enter your email address.
  • Create a password.
  • Optionally add a phone number or profile photo.

Your account is created, but you won’t have access yet.

Step 2 — Wait for your company invitation

After signup, you’ll see a waiting screen.

What this means:

  • Your account exists.
  • Your company has not added you yet.

The app automatically checks for invitations.

If you’re stuck here:

  • Contact your supervisor, admin, or HR and let them know you’re ready.

Step 3 — Accept your invitation

Once your company adds you, you’ll see:
“You’ve been invited!”

  • Tap Accept.
  • The app connects you to your company automatically.

Setup finishes in the background.

Step 4 — Log in to Protiv

After the invitation is accepted:

  • Tap Sign In.
  • Enter your email and password.

You’ll be taken straight to your Protiv dashboard.

Note: Some companies require email verification. If prompted, check your inbox and follow the link.

Step 5 — Set up biometric login (optional)

After your first login, Protiv may ask to enable biometrics.

You can choose:

  • Face ID or fingerprint for faster logins.
  • Skip and set it up later in Profile → Settings.

This is optional.

 Examples

  • You signed up but see a waiting screen → your company hasn’t invited you yet.
  • You accept the invite and land on your dashboard → setup is complete.

Common Mistakes & How To Fix Them

  • Can’t access the app after signup: You must be invited by your company.
  • Wrong email used: Log out and sign up again with the correct work email.
  • Invitation not showing: Refresh or restart the app.
  • Skipped biometrics: You can enable them later in Settings.
