How Do I Use the Protiv Dashboard as an Administrator or Manager?

Learn how to read the Protiv dashboard, understand each tile, and know when to take action versus using side pages.

What the Protiv Dashboard Is (and Is Not)

The Protiv dashboard is built to help administrators and managers take action fast.

It is a curated, action-focused control panel designed to show you what needs attention right now so you can act and move on.

The dashboard is not:

  • A reporting or analytics page

  • A place for deep investigation

  • A replacement for Jobs, ProPays, or Bonuses pages

If you need to decide or act, use the dashboard.
If you need to review details, use side pages.

When Should I Check the Dashboard?

Most managers use the dashboard:

  • At the start of the day

  • Before approving ProPays or Groups

  • Before payroll processing

  • Anytime something feels “off” and you want a quick status check

You don’t need to live here, just check it regularly to keep work moving.

Dashboard Filters
(Top of Page)

At the top of the dashboard, you’ll see filters for:

  • Branch

  • Division

  • Manager

  • Saved Views

These filters allow you to narrow the dashboard to only the teams and work you’re responsible for.

If you frequently manage the same scope, you can save those filter settings as a Saved View and return to it anytime.

Action Tiles
(Top Section)

The top section of the dashboard contains action-driven tiles. These tiles only appear when something requires your attention.

Common action tiles include:

  • Job Progress Updates

  • ProPays Ready to Be Approved

  • Group ProPays Ready to Be Approved

If a tile is empty, that’s usually a good sign.
For example, if ProPays Ready to Be Approved is empty, it means there is nothing waiting on you, not that something is missing or broken.

Note: Some tiles only appear if you have the required permissions.

When you take action from one of these tiles, work automatically moves forward in the system.

Pipeline Movement Tiles
(Middle Section)

The middle section shows how work moves after actions are taken.

These tiles include:

  • Recently Updated Milestones

  • Recently Approved ProPays

  • Held Bonuses and Deductions

This section is not about fixing issues.
It provides visibility into timing, holds, and recent activity so you can confirm things are progressing as expected.

Statement & Timing Tiles
(Lower Section)

The lower section focuses on statements and payout timing.

Tiles here include:

  • Recently Created Statements

  • Past Due Statements

  • Recently Paid Statements

  • Recently Released Line Items

These tiles help you:

  • Track what has progressed

  • Catch items that may need follow-up

  • Prevent missed or delayed payouts

Past due statements don’t break the system, but they usually mean someone is waiting on money or a decision.

Dashboard vs Side Pages

Use the dashboard to:

  • See what matters

  • Take action

  • Confirm work is moving

Use side pages (Jobs, ProPays, Bonuses) to:

  • Review details

  • Manage data

  • Investigate issues

The dashboard gets you where you need to go fast.
Side pages are where detailed work happens.

What Happens Next?

Actions taken on the dashboard move work forward automatically.

As progress is made:

  • Items shift across tiles

  • New actions surface

  • Completed work disappears from view

Every detailed workflow referenced on the dashboard is covered in its own training or knowledge base article.

Final Summary

The Protiv dashboard is your control panel.
It shows what needs attention.
It helps you act quickly.
And it keeps work moving.

Use the dashboard to prioritize.
Use side pages for details.
