How does Protiv connect to Aspire?
Protiv connects to Aspire using an API to sync job, time, and team data, so you can automate bonus payouts without duplicate work.
Protiv connects to Aspire using something called an API (basically a digital bridge between the two systems). You don’t need to know the tech behind it—just what it does for you.
Once the connection is live, Protiv pulls in everything you need to run performance-based pay automatically, without re-entering data.
Here’s what that looks like:
What data Protiv pulls in from Aspire
Protiv pulls in 4 main types of information:
- Properties → Clients
Your Aspire properties show up in Protiv as your clients. - Contacts → Team Members
Any contact in Aspire marked as an employee becomes a team member in Protiv.
This includes:
- Name
- Phone number
- Wages and burden rates (if available)
- Opportunities → Jobs
Jobs you’ve created in Aspire (called “Opportunities”) carry over as Jobs in Protiv. - Work Tickets → Milestones
Aspire work tickets automatically turn into milestones inside each Protiv job.
These milestones are the basis for bonus tracking.
What syncs back and forth
The integration is two-way, which means updates can flow both directions.
Here’s what that includes:
- Time Entries
When a crew lead clocks in using the Protiv mobile app, that time entry can sync into Aspire. - Material Allocations
If workers use materials tied to a work ticket, Protiv updates that usage, and it syncs back to Aspire. - Wages (Coming Soon)
Soon, you’ll be able to update team wages in Aspire and sync those changes automatically into Protiv.
What triggers bonus creation?
When you mark a job as “Complete” in Aspire, that tells Protiv:
“This work is ready for bonus review.”
Protiv automatically moves the milestone to Pending Review, so your manager can finalize the bonus payout.
Why this matters
Connecting Aspire and Protiv means:
- You don’t need to re-enter job or team info
- Bonus payouts are based on real work, pulled straight from the field
