How often does Protiv sync with Aspire?

Protiv syncs with Aspire about every 20 minutes. No need to do anything manually.

Once your Aspire integration is connected, Protiv automatically syncs data every ~20 minutes.
You don’t need to press a button or trigger anything—it runs in the background.

What “sync” actually means

A sync means Protiv checks Aspire for new or updated data and pulls it in.
It also pushes changes you’ve made in Protiv back into Aspire (for the fields that support two-way sync).

This includes updates to:

  • Time entries
  • Material allocations
  • New or updated jobs, properties, or contacts
  • Bonus-triggering status changes (like marking a job as Complete)

What to expect

  • Syncs happen roughly every 20 minutes
  • That’s an average, not an exact timer—it may vary slightly based on system load or what’s been updated
  • You’ll usually see changes reflected in both systems within 15–30 minutes

Real-world examples

  • A crew clocks in using the Protiv app → Time entry shows up in Aspire within 20–30 minutes

  • A work ticket is marked Complete in Aspire → Milestone moves to “Pending Review” in Protiv soon after

  • You update a material’s quantity used in Protiv → Aspire reflects that update by the next sync

No need to manually sync

There’s no "sync now" button in Protiv—because you don’t need one.

As long as your Aspire API connection is set up correctly:

  • Syncs run quietly in the background
  • Everything stays up to date automatically

If something doesn’t seem to be syncing, it’s usually a config issue, not a timing one.
