How do I save and reuse views in Insights?

Stop refiltering every time. Save your views.

Purpose

Insights has a saved-views system. You set up filters once, save the view, and come back to it whenever.

When To Use This

Use this when:

  • You check the same scope every week
  • A specific branch or division is your focus
  • You're sharing views across the team

Quick Path

  1. Set your filters in Insights
  2. Click Save View
  3. Name it
  4. (Optional) Share with team

Step-by-Step

Set up your filters: branch, division, date range, service type, etc.

Click Quick Create View in the views menu.

Name your view (e.g. "Q4 Maintenance — North Branch") and save.

Reusing a Saved View

The saved views dropdown shows all your views. Click one to load it instantly.

Saved Views Manager

For bulk operations on your views:

  • Rename views
  • Delete old views
  • Reorder

Common Mistakes & How To Fix Them

  • "My saved view doesn't have the data I expected" Date ranges in saved views are usually relative (e.g. "Last 30 days"). They update as time passes.

  • "I want to share my view with the team" Sharing is supported in Saved Views Manager. Set permissions there.
