March 2026 Release Notes

Over the last 60 days, we released several major updates across Protiv, including new beta integrations, a new phased incentive workflow for larger jobs, more flexible bonus distribution, mobile improvements, dashboard enhancements, and a broad set of fixes and reliability improvements.

Major Releases

Phases for larger jobs

We released Phases, a new way to structure incentives on larger non-recurring jobs.

Instead of waiting until an entire job is complete to pay out a ProPay, Phases let you break that work into smaller incentive payouts so you can reward progress along the way. This is especially useful for:

  • larger-scale projects that take time to complete
  • jobs where you want to pay some incentive along the way instead of all at the end
  • jobs where multiple teams are working within the same project and should be incentivized separately

With this release, teams can:

  • manually create phased incentives when they want more control
  • convert an existing ProPay into phases for a non-recurring job
  • automatically create phased ProPays based on rules such as division and job size

We also introduced Reserve, which allows managers to release part of the available bonus now while holding some back until the end of the job or a later payout.

Custom Bonus Pools

We added support for Custom Bonus Pools, giving teams more flexibility in how incentives are distributed.

In addition to standard bonus pool structures, admins and managers can now create a custom pool, assign a percentage to it, give it a name, and choose exactly which users should be included. This is helpful when certain contributors or roles do not fit neatly into the default bonus split.

Expanded integrations in beta

We expanded Protiv’s beta integrations footprint with support across:

  • Boss by Integra
  • QuickBooks Time
  • LMN
  • Procore

These releases included both new connector support and follow-up improvements to onboarding, syncing, data mapping, budget handling, and reliability.
