How do I read my bonus statement on mobile?

What the worker sees on their phone, what each section means.

Purpose

Bonus statements are how workers see what they actually got paid. This article walks through what's on a statement.

When To Use This

Use this when:

  • Your statement looks confusing
  • A bonus you expected isn't there
  • You want to verify the math

Where to Find Your Statement

In the Protiv app:

  1. Tap Profile
  2. Tap Bonus Statements

A list of past statements appears. Tap any one to open it.

What's on a Statement

A statement shows:

  • Pay period — The dates the bonus covers
  • Total bonus — What you earned this period
  • Deductions — Anything taken out (if any)
  • Net pay — What you actually receive
  • Line items — Each individual bonus or deduction

Reading Line Items

Each line item shows:

  • Source — Which job or Pro-Goal it came from
  • Type — Bonus or deduction
  • Amount — Dollar value
  • Status — Held, In Process, Paid, Voided

Statement Statuses

  • Open — Period hasn't closed yet, more line items may come
  • Paid — Money has been processed
  • Voided — Statement was canceled

Why Some Items Show "Held"

Held = money is on its way but not yet payable. Three reasons items get held:

  • Waiting period (short-term hold for quality buffer)
  • Retention (longer-term hold based on role)
  • Manual hold by manager

Held items eventually release and pay out.

Common Mistakes & How To Fix Them

  • "My statement is empty" No bonus line items for this period. You may have had jobs but no completed ProPays.

  • "My total looks wrong" Check the line items individually. The total is the sum of all paid line items, not held ones.

  • "The pay date is different from my paycheck date" Pay dates can differ if your payroll runs on a delay. Ask your manager.
