How do I set my Launch Date?

Purpose

The Launch Date is when Protiv starts calculating ProPays for your org. Before launch, no bonuses calculate. After launch, the program is live.

When To Use This

Use this when:

You're done with setup and ready to go live
You want bonuses to begin on a specific date
You're delaying launch (e.g. team isn't ready yet)

Three Launch Date Options

Setting Today

When you pick Today:

ProPay generation begins immediately for any work happening now
Existing in-progress jobs may have ProPays generated retroactively (depending on your config)
Workers can start earning bonuses today

Setting a Future Date

When you pick a future date:

ProPays generate from that date forward
Work before the launch date doesn't create ProPays
Useful when you want to align with a pay cycle, training, or rollout date

Setting Not Sure

This pauses ProPay generation entirely. Configurations save but nothing calculates. Useful when you're still configuring and don't want bonuses leaking through.

After Launch

Once your launch date passes:

The first ProPays appear in the dashboard
Workers see their first earnings on the mobile app
Your bonus statement cycle starts producing real statements

Changing the Launch Date

You can change the launch date after setting it. But:

Moving it backwards may retroactively create ProPays — be careful
Moving it forwards stops ProPay generation between now and the new date

If you've already paid bonuses and need to change the launch date, talk to support first.

Common Mistakes & How To Fix Them

"I set Launch Date but no ProPays appeared" Verify your integration is connected and synced. Without job data, no ProPays generate.
"I want to test before going live" Set Launch Date to Not Sure during testing. Toggle to Today when ready.
