- Open the Protiv app and navigate to the ProPays section.
- Select the ProPay you want to set a goal for.
- On the ProPay details page, scroll to the bottom to find the Goal slider.

The slider allows you to set a goal based on how much you plan to beat the budget by.
- Example: If the job is budgeted for 40 hours, and you set your goal at 50% under budget, you’re aiming to complete the work in 32 hours and 23 minutes.
- The app will automatically show how much bonus money is available based on your set goal.

Once you set a goal, Protiv provides a detailed breakdown of how that goal impacts your pay.

- At the top of the page, you’ll see how your goal affects the total bonus pool.
- Below that, you’ll see how your goal impacts your hourly pay.
- Example: If you’re earning $50/hr, setting a goal might increase it to $63/hr based on bonus payouts.
2️⃣ Goal Progress in Different Units
Protiv gives you multiple ways to measure your progress:
- Dollar Breakdown 💰 – Shows how much bonus you’ve earned so far.
- Hours Remaining ⏳ – Tells you how much time is left to hit your goal.
- Man Days 📆 – Estimates how many 8-hour workdays remain based on your crew size.
Example of Adjusting for Crew Size:
- If 2 people are working, the app recalculates your remaining time, showing that you now have 3 hours and 49 minutes left instead of a full workday.
🔄 Step 4: Tracking Progress with % Complete
Instead of setting a fixed goal, you can also manually update your % Complete to see if you’re on track.
- Example: If you mark the job as 95% complete, the app will tell you whether you are ahead of schedule and how much more bonus you are expected to earn.
