This article explains how Aspire users can combine multiple work tickets into a single opportunity in Protiv and configure milestones for phased payments.
Overview of Aspire Integration:
- Aspire uses a parent-child structure: opportunities (parent) and work tickets (child).
- By default, each work ticket becomes a job in Protiv.
- All attendance is linked to a Worker Ticket
The goal of the new feature:
The primary goal of this feature is to simplify project management for large, multi-phase jobs by combining work tickets under a single opportunity. This allows for more streamlined tracking and reporting in Protiv while providing phased payments via milestones, ensuring better project oversight and worker incentives.
Steps to Combine Work Tickets:
- Navigate to the Aspire integration settings in Protiv.
2. Select the services to categorize and combine work tickets under one opportunity.
Ways to Setup Milestones:
Manual Milestone Import:
- Edit an existing ProPay that meets your criteria; go to the Create ProPay page.
- Under the Milestone section, select the Import button.
- Choose the work tickets to import, then configure how you want the budgets calculated (e.g., hours, contract price, labor budget).
- Follow the prompts to complete the import, then select Update ProPay to generate milestones, which will display in the ProPay Detail page. Each milestone will show a lightning icon to indicate it is being synced from an external source.
Automatic Milestone Import:
- Navigate to the Automation page, and when creating a new automation, toggle on the "Add Milestones Automatically?" option. This setting will automatically add milestones based on your job integration setup.
Why Use This Setup:
- Perfect for large, multi-phase projects where progress payments are required.
- Automates tracking and bonus payments based on work ticket completion.
