      How do I add or edit additional settings to a ProPay? ⚙️

      This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to configure additional settings for a ProPay in Protiv, including bonus split type, bonus pool, lead pay budget, assigning teams, and adding notes.

      Protiv allows you to customize various additional settings for each ProPay to tailor it to your specific job requirements and bonus structures. Here's how to access and modify these settings:

      1. Access ProPay Settings:

        • Go to the "ProPay" tab on the left side of your Protiv dashboard.
        • Locate the ProPay you want to edit and click on the three dots for "Action" and select "Edit ProPay".
        • Click on the "Additional Settings" tab.

      2. Bonus Split Type:

        • Choose how the bonus will be divided among workers:
          • Hours Worked (Distributed Equally): The bonus is split evenly based on the hours each worker contributed.
          • % of Wage (Hours & Wage): The bonus is split proportionally based on both the hours worked and the worker's hourly wage.
          • Set % Distribution: You manually set the percentage of the bonus each worker receives.

      3. Bonus Pool (Optional):

        • Toggle this option on to enable the bonus pool for this ProPay.
        • Set the percentage of the bonus pool that will be allocated to workers and the company.
        • Important Note: If this setting is enables in "Settings page → Bonus Pool (toggle), you can modify the percentage amount for a particular ProPay. If you would like to change the percentage companywide, you must have Admin Permission to do so. 

      4. Lead Pay Budget (Optional):

        • If you want to offer a separate bonus to the crew lead, enter the lead pay budget amount here.

      5. Assign Team:

        • Add or remove workers from the ProPay.
        • You can also change the wage for individual workers here.

      6. Notes (Optional):

        • Add any relevant notes or comments about the ProPay. This can be helpful for tracking changes or communicating with your team.

      7. Save Changes:

        • Click the "Update ProPay" button to save your changes.


      🚨 Important Note:       Some settings, like the Bonus Pool, may not be available if they are not enabled in your company's general settings. Only Admins can change this setting.
