This article explains how to assign team members to a ProPay in Protiv, either manually or automatically through an integration.
Assigning team members to a ProPay is essential for tracking their work hours and calculating bonuses. Protiv offers two ways to assign team members:
1. Manual Assignment (No Integration): ✍️
If you're not using a time-tracking integration, you can manually assign workers to a ProPay when you create it:
- Go to the ProPay page and click "Create ProPay."
- Fill out the required fields (job, manager, labor budget).
- In Additional Settings, go to the Assign Team section, select the workers you want to assign to the ProPay.
- Remember 🛎️: You need their wage information save to their user profile for accurate budget tracking.
- Click "Create ProPay."
Important Note: If you import time data manually, workers' time will be automatically appended to the ProPay, even if you didn't manually assign them when creating it.
2. Automatic Assignment (With Integration): 🔄
If you have a time-tracking integration connected to Protiv, workers will be automatically assigned to the ProPay when they clock in on the associated job. This streamlines the process and reduces the risk of errors.
