Adding workers to Protiv is essential for tracking their time, assigning ProPays, and managing their information. Here's how you can do it:
1. Navigate to the Team Page:
- Log in to your Protiv account.
- Click on the "Team" tab in the left-hand navigation pane.
2. Create a New Team Member:
- Click on the orange "New Team Member" button in the upper right corner.
3. Fill in the Required Fields:
- First Name: Enter the worker's first name.
- Last Name: Enter the worker's last name.
- Wage (without burden): Enter the worker's hourly rate without any additional costs like taxes or insurance. This is the actual amount the worker receives per hour.
- User Type: Select the appropriate role for the worker (Admin, Manager, Crew Lead, or Worker).
- Mobile Number: Enter the worker's mobile phone number for text notifications (optional for office staff).
- Email Address: Enter the worker's email address (required).
Important Note: If you have an integration connected, Protiv will pull worker information from your integrated system. However, you may need to manually adjust the wage for Jobber integrations, as it defaults to $1.
4. Additional Options:
- Auto Send Invite: Toggle this option to automatically send an invitation email to the worker.
- Save Options: To finish, choose "Save and Close" or "Save and New" to add another worker.
