      How do I manage integrations in Protiv? 🔗

      This article provides a guide on how to connect and manage integrations with third-party services in Protiv. 🔄

      Protiv allows you to integrate with various third-party time-tracking systems to streamline your workflow and enhance data management. Here's how you can manage your integrations:

      1. Access the Integrations Page:

        • Log in to your Protiv account.
        • Click on the "Integrations" tab in the left-hand navigation pane.

      2. Available Integrations:

        • The Integrations page displays a list of available integrations, such as QuickBooks Time, BusyBusy, and others.

      3. Connect an Integration:

        • Click the "Connect" button next to the integration you want to set up.
        • Follow the on-screen instructions to authorize and connect your Protiv account with the third-party service.
        • Note: Some integrations, such as Aspire, Buddy Punch, Paycom, TSheets by QuickBooks, and VeriClock, require an Integration Setup Call with a Protiv representative due to additional steps involved in the connection process. The person connecting this at the client's company must have Admin Permissions on the integration and would, ideally, be tech-savvy.

      4. Manage Existing Integrations:

        • Once connected, you'll see a green "Authorized" button under the name of the integration.
        • Click the three dots in the upper right-hand corner to:
          • Configure: Modify the integration settings (e.g., update credentials, adjust sync settings).
          • Disconnect: Remove the integration from your Protiv account.

      5. Troubleshooting Integrations:

        • If you encounter any issues with an integration, refer to the integration-specific documentation or contact Protiv support for assistance.


      Important Notes:

      • The availability of integrations varies. We are continuously working to add more third-party software integrations to our library.
      • Depending on how far back you are pulling time data from, the initial data pull can take 15 minutes to 24 hours. Once the initial sync is complete, data will sync automatically every 2 hours.
      • Only users with Admin permissions can connect or manage integrations.
