Automation triggers in Protiv determine when your ProPay automations will start. This guide will show you how to set them up.
Automation triggers are the events that kickstart your ProPay automations. In Protiv, you have two main trigger options to choose from:
-
Job Creation Date: 📅
- This trigger starts the automation when a new job is created on or after a specific date that you set.
- For example, you could set a trigger to create a ProPay every time a new job is created on or after January 1st.
-
Worker Clock-In Date: ⏰
- This trigger starts the automation when a worker clocks in on a job on or after a specific date that you set.
- For example, you could set a trigger to create a ProPay every time a worker clocks in on or after February 15th.
How to Set Automation Triggers 🛠️
- Go to the Automations Page: Navigate to the "Automations" section on the left-hand side of your Protiv dashboard.
- Create or Edit an Automation: If you're creating a new automation, click the "Create New Automation" button. If you're editing an existing automation, click the "Edit" button next to the automation you want to modify.
- Choose Your Trigger: Under the "Automation Triggers" section, select either "Job Creation Date" or "Worker Clock-In Date."
- Set the Date: If you chose "Job Creation Date," select the date on or after which you want the automation to trigger. If you chose "Worker Clock-In Date," select the date on or after which you want the automation to trigger when a worker clocks in.
