There always seems to be some confusion about who can see what, based on permissions. In Protiv, there are four distinct User Types, each with different levels of access and responsibilities: Admin, Manager, Crew Lead, and Worker. Everything within Protiv is permission-based. Let’s start by looking at what an Admin can see.

0:15
Admins have the most comprehensive access. On the left-hand navigation pane, they can access the Dashboard, ProPay, Bonuses, Reports, Time, Import, Team, Settings, and Integrations.

0:28
If an integration is connected, Admins will also have access to the Automations screens. Admins can manage all aspects of the Protiv account, including adding and editing users, configuring settings, and viewing reports.

0:40
Let’s quickly review the Admin Dashboard. It includes indicators (KPIs), the ProPay count, and leaderboards.

0:57
In the ProPay section, Admins can view ProPays for the entire company. The Bonuses section shows a breakdown for everyone in the company during the bonus statement period.

1:07
Admins also have access to all necessary Reports and Time data for the entire company. For example, although this view defaults to data for "Thomas," Admins can see all chronological time entries across the organization.

1:19
Under Settings, Admins can manage the General Tab, which contains global settings for Protiv. Admin access is required to view or modify these settings.

1:38
Admins can also manage notifications (both general and user-specific) and connect integrations to sync time data.

2:01
Now, let’s look at an account with Manager permissions. Managers oversee specific teams and can access most features. They can create and edit ProPays, view Reports for their teams, and manage Worker information.

2:13
The left-hand navigation pane for Managers includes the Dashboard, ProPays, Bonuses, Reports, Time, Team, and Settings.

2:24
On the Manager Dashboard, indicators and the ProPay count are displayed.

2:40
In the ProPay section, Managers can view and manage ProPays, similar to Admins. In the Bonuses section, they can see bonus statements for their team.

2:49
Managers can pull Reports and troubleshoot Time-related issues within their organization.

2:58
They also manage team workloads, relieving some responsibilities from Admins. However, in the Settings section, Managers can only adjust their personal notification preferences. They cannot modify global settings like Admins.

3:09
Next, let’s review a Crew Lead account. The navigation pane shrinks to include only the Dashboard, ProPay, Bonuses, Time, and Settings.

3:24
On the Crew Lead Dashboard, they can view indicators and the ProPay count relevant to their responsibilities.

3:36
For ProPays, Crew Leads can see and manage ProPays assigned to their specific crew. They oversee Workers and handle ProPay assignments.

3:54
In the Bonuses section, Crew Leads can only view bonus statements assigned to their account. For example, in this demonstration, the account belongs to "Manuel Sanchez," so only his data is visible.

4:12
Similarly, in the Time section, Crew Leads can only view their own Time data.

4:17
In the Settings section, Crew Leads can adjust their notification preferences as needed.

4:24
Lastly, let’s look at a Worker account. The navigation pane includes the Dashboard, ProPay, Bonuses, Time, and Settings.

4:33
On the Dashboard, Workers can view indicators and the ProPay count.

4:41
In the ProPay section, Workers see only ProPays assigned to them. Workers primarily use their accounts to view performance metrics and updates related to their work.

5:00
Workers can view their ProPays, clock in and out, and review their bonus calculations.

5:06
In the Bonuses section, Workers see only their own bonus data. For instance, this account belongs to "Pedro Diaz," so only Pedro’s bonuses are visible.

5:12
Similarly, in the Time section, Pedro can only see his own Time entries.

5:25
In the Settings section, Workers can adjust their notification preferences to suit their needs.

5:35
To summarize, Protiv is entirely permission-based. Each User Type has specific access based on their role. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to our dedicated support team.
