What are the options for splitting the bonus in a ProPay? 💰
This article explains the three ways you can split bonuses among your workers when creating a ProPay in Protiv. ⚖️
When setting up a ProPay in Protiv, you have three options for how the bonus is split among your workers:

Equal Per Hour: ⏱️
- The bonus is divided equally based on the number of hours each worker put into the job.
- Everyone gets the same bonus amount per hour, but the total bonus each person receives will depend on how many hours they worked.

% of Wage (Hours & Wage): 💼
- The bonus is divided based on both the number of hours worked AND each worker's hourly wage.
- This means workers with higher hourly wages will get a slightly larger share of the bonus.

Set % Distribution: 🎯
- You manually set the percentage of the bonus each worker will receive, regardless of how many hours they worked.
- This gives you the most control over how the bonus is split.
Important Note: The "Set % Distribution" option is not recommended for automations because it requires manual input.
Which Option is Right for You? 🤷♀️
The best way to split the bonus depends on your company's policies and the specific job. If you want to reward everyone equally for their time, choose "Equal Per Hour." If you want to factor in both time and wage, choose "% of Wage." And if you want complete control over the distribution, choose "Set % Distribution."
