LeadPay is an additional bonus you can offer to your managers or crew leads to incentivize them to bring jobs in under budget.
LeadPay is a special bonus designed to motivate your managers, supervisors, or crew leads to complete jobs within the allocated budget. It's like a reward for their leadership and efficient project management skills. 🏆
How LeadPay Works 🛠️
-
It's an Extra Bonus: LeadPay is separate from the regular ProPay bonuses earned by workers. It's an additional incentive specifically for those in leadership roles.
-
Tied to Budget: The LeadPay amount is linked to the job's budget. If the job goes over budget, the overage is deducted from the LeadPay.
-
Still a Bonus: Even if there's an overage, any remaining amount after the deduction is still paid out as a bonus to the lead.
How to Set Up LeadPay ⚙️
-
Create a ProPay: Start by creating a new ProPay or editing an existing one.
-
Additional Settings: Click on the "Additional Settings" tab.
-
Add Lead Pay: Toggle the "Add Lead Pay" button to "Yes."
-
Enter LeadPay Information:
- Select User(s): Choose the manager(s) or crew lead(s) who are eligible for LeadPay.
- Divide Amount (Optional): You can split the LeadPay among multiple leaders if desired.
-
Save: Click the "Save" button to finalize your ProPay with LeadPay.
Example:
Let's say you set a LeadPay budget of $100 for a job. If the job comes in $20 under budget, the lead earns the full $100 LeadPay bonus. But if the job goes $30 over budget, the lead would only receive a $70 bonus ($100 - $30 overage = $70).
Important Note: LeadPay is a great way to align your leaders' goals with your company's financial objectives. By incentivizing them to stay on budget, you can improve project profitability and boost overall team performance.
